The overall purpose of this job is to provide supervision and care to the residents, promote the well-being of those residents; provide related support to their families and legal guardians; coordinate with Agency staff and individuals from other agencies/community programs involved in providing care to the residents; support, maintain, and meet the Agency mission and vision; and assist the Agency with adhering to best practices, state and federal laws, Agency policies and procedures, and accreditation standards.

Experience/Skills/Education:
Required: Must have high school diploma or GED
A valid North Carolina Driver License
Proof of vehicle insurance
Preferred:
Experience in residential/group home setting
2 or 4 year degree in human services or related field
Parenting experience or training regarding parenting concepts
Ability to utilize computer program related to documentation

The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in becoming an expert in the child welfare system in NC. The candidate will work as a member of the operations team and will have other case manager colleagues. The candidate will be instrumental in building key partnerships with community stakeholders.
